The name, Runcible Spoon, comes from this children's story about love, adventure, nature, and whimsy. Elements from the story and the main characters, the owl and the pussycat, are evident throughout the restaurant's decor.

Both of their locations provide a small shelf of books for your reading pleasure.

Named after the writing tool of days of ole.
