Book Review - All is Not Forgotten by Wendy Walker

This book by Wendy Walker is about Jenny Kramer, a young female victim, who is given a controversial drug to make her forget a violent attack she endured at a party. Although the drug erases her factual memory of the attack, her emotional response to the attack leaves her vulnerable and confused about her reactions to certain stimuli. In addition to Jenny, we also see how her parents cope with the decision to give her this drug. Her father, Tom, is obsessed with finding the attacker (which of course is made more difficult since Jenny can't remember the attack); and her mother, Charlotte, would prefer that everyone just forget it happened and allow Jenny to move on with her life.

It is unique in that it is told from the perspective of her psychiatrist who is trying to help her recover these memories. This is really unlike any other mystery book I've read! I particularly enjoyed the perspective from which it was told.
