The moment I knew I wanted to become an author:
When I realized my own family, alive and dead, were compelling characters with colorful adventures.
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook:
Hardback to heavy, paperback can easily pack, Ebook handy but awkward to read, Audio is great for long car trips.
The last book I read:
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides - was nicely written but big turn off when the "patient" became violent and suffered no immediate consequences.

Pen & paper or computer:
Both.... hand to paper can be powerful and use it for notes and snippets of epiphanies for dialogue, character arcs, and plot points. The ability to edit and correct on a computer was a game changer, although I was a pro at corrections on a Selectric IBM typewriter.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with:
Don Quixote (by Miguel Cervantes) Sounds like a fun guy to hang with and exchange stranger adventure stories.

I was a debt collector for multinationals and dabbled as a writer and actor in between.

1950's
Place I’d most like to travel:
I would return to Australia to visit if the flight was not so long.

Manhattan in winter.....Gin tonic in summer.

I have adapted my written work for the screen and theatre and reversed engineered films to the page.
