Author I draw inspiration from: I have a few! Nora Roberts is obviously one of the queens of romance to me, and another author who inspires me by her written word is Mia Sheridan. I find her to be so powerful.

Favorite place to read a book: I love to either read in my bed, or listen to audiobooks when I am driving or cleaning my house! Cleaning seems to be a lot more fun when I have a great romantic comedy to listen to, haha!

Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Mr. Darcy. I’d hope we were stuck for a few hours so I could listen to his grumpy self with that great accent.

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: I knew I wanted to have a career in writing, as I wrote my first novel when I was fourteen years old, but I didn’t truly know I wanted to be an author for a living until the age of twenty-four.

Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Audiobooks as of late! I love when the narrators match the written word like a missing puzzle piece.

The last book I read: The Dugout by Meghan Quinn. Hilarious!

Pen & paper or computer: Computer! I type so much faster than I write, so a typewriter is definitely needed to keep up with my flow of creation.

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Ron Weasley from Harry Potter. Something about that boy just makes me happy. Wait, can he be stuck in the elevator with Mr. Darcy and I? I’d love to see the two of them argue. (I think I have a thing for accents…)

If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: A screenwriter! If it were something outside of the writing realm, I’d love to direct or be a makeup artist.

Favorite decade in fashion history: The roaring 20’s! Give me all the furs (faux, of course) and flapper dresses! I still go to parties with 1920’s costumes, and every time I get to dress up in those clothes I feel like a part of history. There was something so free and glamorous about the beads and jewelry that accompanied the dresses.

Place I’d most like to travel: Scotland is at the top of my list as of now! I’d love to go to Jamaica someday, too. Or Bora Bora!

My signature drink: Non-alcoholic is water—I’m boring that way. Alcoholic? I love anything with vodka or tequila. My summer drink so far as been a tequila sunrise!

Favorite artist: Oh boy, this changes weekly. As of right now? Taylor Swift’s newest album Folklore is on repeat. I see myself writing a lot of angsty scenes to this one!

Number one on my bucket list: I want to build my forever home someday! And have one of my novels turned into a movie or television series! Dreaming big haha!

Anything else you'd like to add: I want to give a quick shout out to any and everyone who has ever given my novels and me a chance. Without your support, I’m just a girl writing stories on my laptop. It’s because you pick them up that these characters come to life. Thanks for joining me on this journey, it’s a magical one because of you!

She graduated from Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts and a minor in creative writing. Her novels have been successfully translated in multiple languages including Spanish, German, Italian and French. She loves to take part in writing screenplays, acting, and dancing—poorly, of course. When she’s not running a million errands and crafting stories, she’s probably playing with her adorable pets. You can learn more at www.bcherrybooks.com
