Favorite place to read a book:
I would say my favorite place to read is definitely the beach and then in bed before I lay down.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with:
Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games.
Katniss Everdeen - She survived the hunger games. She can certainly get us through being stuck in an elevator! Plus, I admire her strength and ability to stay her true and authentic self in the midst of unimaginable pressure.

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author:
There wasn’t really a particular moment. My books are a creation of the heart, a gentle nudge placed there to share with others.
It is less about being an author and more about sharing a beautiful message and story that comes from creation and imagination.
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook:
Gotta be either hardcover or paperback. I have to feel the book in my hands!
The last book I read:
I just finished the re-read of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It reminds me that the dreams placed in our hearts are intentional.
It taught me to trust the journey, respect the omens, and when we move with faith and purpose, the universe aligns.
I’ll be honest I think it’s a book that everybody should pick up and read.

Pen & paper or computer:
It’s a mix of both! I journal daily. I’m a visionary so I doodle and draw the ideas and stories that I see inside of my mind.
When I’m inside my creative flow, I use all modalities available. Where Does Joy Live? was originally inside of a sketchpad. It lived there for a long time before I began to create the digital form that now lives as a colorful book. So it just depends.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with:
Khaleesi from Game of Thrones written by George R. R. Martin.
I would want Khaleesi as a best friend because she is fiercely, loyal, and unafraid to grow and show her power. A divine energy that leads with a gentle heart yet is still a strong leader, guided by purpose and love.

If I weren’t an author, I’d be a:
I am not just an author. I am a creator. I am a daughter. I am a mother. I am a friend. I’m a dreamer that loves to bring my world of imagination into the physical existence and share it.
I do not have a dream career, but I do have a dream of sharing joy, and the message of joy, and I hope that it resonates with others.
Favorite decade in fashion history:
Well, I’m inspired by Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe so what is that? The Hollywood Golden Era - 1940s, 1950s and, 1960s.
Timeless grace, pearls, gold, and diamonds, all mixed with elegance, soft strength, and feminine energy.
Place I’d most like to travel:
There are many places I would love to travel to, letting experience be my muse.
If I had to pick one place, one destination, it would be Sicily. My grandfather was from Sicily and I have heard that Italy is just a beautiful and magical place.
I would be grateful to see it in real time. To experience it and then, of course, write about it!
My signature drink:
I love a nice gin and tonic with extra lime. And for a special treat, I adore an ice, cold, Coca-Cola, Classic.
Favorite artist:
I don’t necessarily have a favorite. I draw inspiration from many that have come before me, through me, and around me.
If I had to pick though, I would pick God our Creator as my favorite artist.
Number one on my bucket list:
One thing on my bucket list is to read Where Does Joy Live? to children in different communities and countries, reminding them that joy is not something we wait for, it is something that already lives within them.
Anything else you'd like to add:
I believe that when you find what you love, and you recognize the feeling of joy and appreciation, everything else falls into place.
