Author of Meet Cute Magic
She's a witch who can’t fall in love without getting her heart broken. He holds a grudge like no other.
Bookstore owner Rosie Mayfield wants a love of her own, but it’s not meant to be––because of her family's curse. To break it, she conjures a ghost who will break her curse, but for a cost––she has to brew a potion to help him transition to the other side. The problem? There’s only one person who hates Rosie in all of Heartwood Hollow, and she needs his help to complete the required task.
Jack Haggerty, the ghost’s grandson, has lamented about Rosie for years––she’s a disaster and she’s forbidden from visiting his gaming shop. He doesn’t believe in ghosts, so he’s stunned when his beloved grandfather makes an appearance. While he loves his family and will do anything to help his grandpa, he fights against the chemistry brewing between him and Rosie until he can’t anymore. But he doesn’t know how to tell her he no longer wants to go through with the plan, and she won’t admit that she’s falling for him because they’re doomed from the start.

Author I draw inspiration from:
I pull a lot of my inspiration from movies and music! A 00's romcom movie and a Taylor Swift playlist are the most inspiring things to me.
Favorite place to read a book:
I love an audiobook while doing a hobby! So either on the couch, needlepointing, or in the garden. If I'm reading a physical book, on the beach can't be beat.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author:
I've always loved reading, and went to school for PR and Journalism. I really wanted to work for a music magazine like Alternative Press in high school and college, but went into non-profit events instead. After kids, I became a SAHM and read SO much romance. One day I found an old outline for a book and decided to just say screw it and see what I could do. Now it's my full-time job!
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook:
audiobook supremacy, always! I love a multitask! For physical reads, I'm an ebook girl. I have three kids, so keeping pages and places on a paperback is tough. For me, hardcovers are waaay too bulky and are basically just very pretty shelf trophies.
The last book I read:
Love Felt Like This by Julie Olivia! This job is so fun because I get to read my friends' books earlier sometimes and I LOVED this one!

Pen & paper or computer:
Pen and paper for plotting out the story or mapping out issues, computer for actually drafting. A lot of my plotting happens while on walks with a dictation recorder though!
If I weren’t an author, I’d be a:
I think I'd still like a creative job - I'd probably figure out some way to turn crafts or a hobby into a real job!
Favorite decade in fashion history:
I love the cut of dresses in the 50s, but as a nostalgic girl who loves whimsy, the 00s are my fave.
Place I’d most like to travel:
I've always wanted to go to Greece! Growing up, My Big Fat Greek Wedding was my favorite movie, and Hercules is my favorite Disney movie. It's definitely my big bucket list location.
My signature drink:
A Shirley Temple! I don't drink a ton of alcoholic drinks, but when I do, a Dirty Shirley. My best friend got married last year, and she made sure they had everything needed so I could have them. That's a good friend, right there.
Favorite artist:
I'm a Swiftie to my core, and I have been since high school! I love being able to pick a different mood with each album. If I'm in a sad girl mood, Noah Kahan.
Number one on my bucket list:
I want to take a road trip around the country with my family! From New Jersey to California, down the PCH, then through the south and back up. It's been a busketlist trip of mine for YEARS

About Morgan Elizabeth:
Morgan Elizabeth
Morgan Elizabeth is a #1 bestselling Amazon author writing spicy romances that feel like your favorite 00’s romcoms. A born-and-raised Jersey girl, she lives in Central Jersey (it’s a real place!) with her two sons and daughter, her mechanic husband, and a very dopey Scottish fold cat. She drinks iced coffee year-round, lives for a crisp Coke Zero, and is always down for a sweet treat. If she has downtime, she loves doing a cozy craft
while listening to a spicy audiobook or Taylor Swift. There is rarely an in-between.
Writing has been her calling for as long as she can remember. There’s a framed “page one” of a book she wrote at seven hanging in her childhood home to prove the point. Her entire
life, she’s crafted stories in her mind that beg to be released, and she’s still in awe that she’s somehow managed to make it her actual job.
