Bio:
I’m currently a Designer in LA but when I worked in publishing I called New York City my home. I loved working with books, it was always a dream of mine and I’m lucky I got to be a part of it for a time. Since moving from New York I’ve started working in Entertainment Advertising, specifically movie and TV key art. It’s somewhat like working with book covers in that I have to convey a story through a single image. I’m glad I work in an industry that can closely relate back to my book cover days. Publishing was my first job out of college and I couldn’t have asked for a better kick-off.

Inspiration for The Curiosities by Susan Gloss:
For The Curiosities it was a group effort. We went through a few different direction originally that were obvious next steps from her previous book. But at Harper we work very closely with the author to make sure everyone is happy with the final product and she was willing to see different directions. The end result was a mix of The author’s feedback, my art director’s guidance, and my take on the novel itself.
