Favorite place to read a book: On my sofa with a cat on my lap

Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Frederick Henry from Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms.  I fell hard for him.

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: As kids, my cousin and I were at a sleepover at our grandparents' house.  She showed me a story she'd written and I was completely smitten with it.  I wanted to try my hand at writing too, and haven't stopped since.

Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Paperback

The last book I read: Nicole Baart's You Were Always Mine.  Loved it!

Pen & paper or computer: Computer

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Karma Brown has a knack for creating beautiful female friendships in her novels.  I'd be best friends with any of her protagonists.

If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: Teacher

Favorite decade in fashion history: This one.  Though I know I'll look back in twenty years and cringe at what I was wearing.

Place I’d most like to travel: Ireland

My signature drink: Riesling

Favorite artist: Damien Rice

Number one on my bucket list: See the Northern Lights
