HBL Note: Reese Witherspoon just announced From Scratch by Tembi Locke as her Hello Sunshine Book Club pick for May. I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy back in February, thank you Megan Beatie Communications! This book reminds me a bit of Under the Tuscan Sun for foodies (but instead of a divorce leading her to Italy as an escape, the loss of a loved one leads her to Italy to connect with family.) I am not surprised this book is receiving lots of attention, I can only hope Reese Witherspoon adopts it for a movie or mini-series.
