The Escape Room
Book Feature - The Escape Room by Megan Goldin
HBL Note: I remember when I first heard about escape rooms. A friend of mine invited my husband and me to go to an escape room with them as a double date. I had NO idea what I was getting into and I was really apprehensive. I, like a lot of people, assumed that we’d be locked in a room and that we’d physically have to escape using brute force and our physical ability. I was so relieved to find out that we would, instead, be solving puzzles and using our brains. I ended up loving the escape room and I’ve done several more since then. I am lucky I hadn’t read this book prior to going, I’m not sure I could have been convinced to go. I think this book is every person’s (at least those who have never been in an escape room) worst nightmare. I love that this book was sent with a survival kit. Such a fun touch on the publicist’s part!
